Debbie Koo is a CPA with more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.
She began her career as an accountant with Kenneth Leventhal & Company (KL&Co), a national CPA firm specializing in the real-estate industry. While at KL & Co. she audited the financial statements of commercial real-estate developers as well as single and multi-family homebuilders and property managers. In addition, she was involved with the preparation of project and cash flow projections for feasibility studies for her clients, which included Lincoln Property Company, Blackhawk Development Corporation, Doric Development, Inc. and Harbor Bay Isle Associates.

After leaving public accounting, Debbie became the controller/CFO for Levine-Fricke-Recon, a national environmental-consulting engineering firm. Prior to joining SRM Associates, Debbie was the controller for the construction division of Shorenstein Realty Services (SRS), and Shorenstein Construction Company (SCC).

Debbie received a B.S. in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from UC Berkeley and a M.S. in taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She lives in Orinda with her husband. Debbie has a son and a daughter.
